any one of a thousand apparel products. Elite Sportswear &
Awards Ltd. provides the best in direct screen printing and custom
transfer work. We are the screen printing pros and the graphics
technology leader!
Art Guidelines
and General Information for Screen Printing
We can view many file types,
but the ones we prefer are designed in vector based programs such
as Adobe Illustrator CS or Adobe Freehand MX ( .ai or .eps). Each
object in a vector file can be selected and individually manipulated
independently from the rest of the image. When providing such
files, it is important to create outlines or convert to curves
for all text used.

Digital Printing
Digital printing on fabrics has opened new opportunities
for anyone looking for a new promotional product. This solution
offers a high range of flexibility and reproduction quality while
allowing you the widest range of colors and photographic quality.
For truly stunning color and smooth tonal gradations, Elite's
Digital printing is the answer. The ink used is similar to standard
screen printing ink, therefore the print maintains the durability
and washability of a regularly screen printed piece. This process
is available on any colour garment.

ability as well as technical computer expertise. We have highly
skilled digitizers with years of experience to ensure your logo
is of the highest quality. Our embroidery machines are Tajima
& Melco which require .dst format files.

Cresting
We crest all types of jerseys. Whether it’s hockey,
football, volleyball, basketball and baseball jerseys, bring it
in and we’ll crest it for you! We are recognized as the
official supplier to the Edmonton Oilers as well as the Edmonton
Eskimos for their game day jerseys.
Laser/Diamond Engraving
The lasers use an intense pinpoint beam of light that
engrave or etch into an item. The depth of the engraving is dependent
on the material. The laser beam needs to be in focus to engrave
so we generally engrave on flat items. Mugs and drinkware can
be held in a special rotary holder that will turn the item as
it is lasered. We can engrave graphics and text in materials such
as wood, acrylics, plastics and colour coated metals.
Diamond Engraving
A diamond tip is used to cut into the material (usually
metal) being engraved. Think of a pen tip and the line thickness
you can draw with it and this will give you an idea as to how
engraved lines with diamonds tips appear
Art Guidelines and General
Information for Engraving
Anything from line drawings to black & white photos can be
laser engraved. Our standard artwork is PC format Corel Draw,
.eps or .tiff files. Keep in mind these lasers cannot cut into
bare metal and as such will only remove the colour surface coatings
of our engraving metals. We do have a coating that when applied
to a stainless steel surface will turn the lasered area black.
